Power, like Double Wing provides NU with some Wishbone-like capabilities. The Power set allows NU to always use its I-back as the pitch back, where a wishbone would force the I-back to be the lead blocker half of the time. NU plays also uses fullbacks and tight ends in the WB spot in different situations. The formation is called Green when a second fullback is there. I don't know the call that puts a tight end there. The WB can be put in short motion to either side (usually on option) or in regular motion to put him is a H-back type position. |
